In 2003, I was working at an indie label in Southwest Georgia when two friends and I were in the studio talking about being the "rebound guy" -- when someone uses you to get over someone else. I said it was like we're their "therapy" and the three of us just started writing. PM was the poet, Barry penned some verses and I wrote the music. This song went from concept to completion in a matter of hours. It was also the first song I ever had played on the radio.
